Junior Championship Rules |

C1 The Association shall conduct annual
competitions for the Yorkshire Under 18, Under 15, Under 12, Under 9 and Girls
Under 18 Championships. These shall be open to players born in Yorkshire, or
attending a full-time educational establishment in Yorkshire, or resident in
Yorkshire for more than two years immediately prior to the event, or affiliated
to the Association, and who are in the appropriate age group on September the
1st in the season in which the competition is held.
C2 a) The
winner of each competition organised by the Hon. Secretary for Junior Chess
shall hold the appropriate title of Yorkshire ..... Champion.
b) The
various Yorkshire Junior Trophies shall be placed on permanent loan to the Yorkshire
Schools Chess Association subject to their utilization in presentation for
various junior events.
C3 The Executive Committee shall have the
authority to amend any of the rules of these competitions prior to July 31st in
each year for the ensuing season; any amended rule shall remain in force
throughout the ensuing season.
