Sheffield University - Not active in the Association this season
Because students come and go in a
relatively short time it sometimes happens that virtually the whole university
chess club leaves at once, causing discontinuity in the university's
participation in S&DCA activities.
To help minimise the weakening of links between the Association and the
university, the Association appointed for the first time in 2002 a University
Chess Liaison Officer, Paul Cumbers.
